Food Grade Statement
To the best of our knowledge, please be advised that the following product,
offered by SAFC Flavors & Fragrances, a marketing and sales function of Sigma-Aldrich Co. LLC, is manufactured under current good manufacturing practices (“cGMP’s”) for food facilities and conforms to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (“HACCP”) Principles. The product is intended for use in manufacturing food or designated generally recognized as safe (“GRAS”) by:
Furthermore, said articles comprising each shipment made hereafter will not be, as of the date of such shipment, adulterated or misbranded within the meaning of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (the “Act”) or within the meaning of any state or municipal ordinance in which the definition of adulteration and misbranding is substantially the same as that used in the Act; and that such articles are not articles which may not, under the provision of Section 404 or 505 of the Act, be introduced into interstate commerce. Sigma-Aldrich Co. LLC warrants that its products conform to the information contained in this Food Grade Statement and other Sigma-Aldrich Co. LLC publications. It is the buyer's responsibility to determine for each applicable region that buyer’s use, usage levels, and products all comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Buyer shall be liable for any claims made about the end use product. For the avoidance of doubt, Sigma-Aldrich Co. LLC and its affiliates shall not be liable for buyer’s use, usage levels, products and any claims made about the end use product.
