Tools such as FMEA are used to develop Quality Control Plans to ensure batch to batch consistency supported by extensive use of SPC (statistical process control) to ensure key variables are maintained within their control limits. Standard operating procedures, process and metrology validation, automated process controls and dedicated and highly trained personnel also contribute to minimising variance and ensuring consistency of manufacture.
The integrity and design of containers for reliable and safe use of precursors or dopants is well understood. SAFC Hitech have a long history of design and supply of standard or bespoke ampoules. Choice of construction materials and valves, precision manufacture and electropolishing are combined with rigorous preparation procedures and leak checking to ensure product quality is not compromised.
