SAFC raw materials are manufactured at one of our 30 sites worldwide or can be procured through our network of over 10,000 raw material suppliers. Quality assurance is a critical element within the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing pipeline that, should it fail, can have catastrophic results. The Enhanced Quality system is designed to assist SAFC customers in better managing supply chain risk at the appropriate cost while providing peace of mind that a product's quality profile meets the individualized manufacturing requirements for raw materials, ranging from ISO 9001 to cGMP.

SAFC's Enhanced Quality program is characterized by four quality levels, each in consistency with the corresponding industry requirements: learn more about Standard, Premium, Elite and cGMP.

Our team of auditors is on the ground globally, including the Asia-Pacific region and can help you ensure the quality of your supply chain for key intermediates and other critical starting materials. The auditing process is performed in compliance with international standards such as ISO, GLP or cGMP (ICH Q7A, 21 CRF 211 and 21 CRF 820) or according to customer-specific requirements. Initial audit findings are available within seven business days, with a final report delivered within 30 days and all report formats are customizable.
